I dolci della Regina

About I dolci della Regina

“I Dolci della Regina” is an artisan pastry shop in Garda, nestled on the charming pedestrian promenade and part of the historic Hotel Regina Adelaide. We specialize in freshly made pastries, cakes, and Italian leavened desserts, prepared daily in small batches to guarantee exceptional freshness and flavor.

For over fifty years, our pastry kitchen has been crafting traditional Italian desserts entirely by hand, using only premium ingredients: Sicilian candied oranges, Madagascar Bourbon vanilla, Puglian almonds, Australian raisins, and Belgian butter. Every creation is free from preservatives and made with time-honored techniques that respect natural rising and resting times.

Our Garda pastry boutique was founded by Annalisa Tedeschi, whose famous dessert trolley became a beloved ritual for guests of Hotel Regina Adelaide. Today, her son Nicolò continues the tradition, blending passion and craftsmanship to create pastries that are both authentic and unforgettable.

Even our packaging is part of the experience — soft, textured, and finished with elegant embossing — perfect for a gift or to bring the taste of authentic Italian pastry home. Whether you’re visiting Garda or looking for the perfect holiday treat, “I Dolci della Regina” invites you to indulge in the sweetest side of Italian tradition.

Tips From Locals

  1. On Saturdays and Sundays between June and September, the Cafe Bar is busiest between 9:00 and 11:00 AM. We suggest you to avoid and visit weektime or outside peek hours
  2. One of our favourite pastries for breakfast is “Cioccolato e Pere” — similar to a risino but made with rich chocolate and sweet pears.
  3. We recommend trying our fruit juices, made with organic produce from a local farm — fresh, healthy, and full of the flavours of our region.
