Osteria Dai Coghi
About Osteria Dai Coghi
In the quiet village of Albarè, just outside Costermano sul Garda, chefs Alex and Mara have created a cozy spot that’s all about local, seasonal food. At Osteria dai Coghi, the menu changes throughout the year based on what’s fresh and in season — you might find dishes with radicchio, chestnuts, homemade truffle ravioli, or slow-cooked rabbit, depending on when you visit. The space is simple and welcoming, with wine bottles lining the walls and a relaxed, no-frills vibe.
The cooking mixes local tradition with a few creative twists. One of the most talked-about dishes is the guinea fowl with smoked black tea, carrot, and beluga lentils — even Michelin inspectors took notice, awarding the place a Bib Gourmand for great food at a fair price. The wine list is solid too, featuring some of the best labels from the surrounding area.
If you’re looking for seasonal cuisine near Lake Garda in a friendly setting, Osteria dai Coghi is well worth a stop. No fancy fuss — just great food, local ingredients, and a genuine atmosphere.

Tips From Locals
- Wine To drink: Monte dei Ragni
One of the few restaurants in the area to feature Monte dei Ragni wines — a boutique Valpolicella estate run by Zeno Zignoli. With just 6 hectares of naturally farmed, old-vine vineyards and limited production of Amarone, Valpolicella, and authentic white wines, Monte dei Ragni stands as a rare example of integrity and respect for the land, far from the logic of mass production.
